Scott Stephenson's Chick Magnets rock the Jetty . . . . again.

The date did not keep people home last Friday the 13th.  Scott Stephenson's Chick Magnets had people on their feet dancing at the Jetty in Marshfield.  And no wonder, word travels fast when musicians from the First Parish Norwell Unitarian church are playing.  Clayton Handleman, also from FPN commented,  "the band brought fresh energy to classics from Van Morrison to the Monkeys.  Most were singing along and / or dancing, a really fun time."

Stephenson comomented, "we always like getting people from the Old Unitarian Guys up the stage with us.  Tonight it was Clayton Handleman at the mic singing The Weight.  On other occasions, Mike Sanborn has brought his extraordinary bass playing to the stage with us. "

Mike Sanborn's legendary bass once again graced Marshfield as Diving Buffalo played to an adoring audience.  Accoding to Mike, "People were dancing and it was nice to see adults let go of the stress of every day life and simply have some fun, it was great that Diving Buffalo played a part in that."

If you missed it, Mike reminded us of a rare event in which the Old Unitarian Guys are coming out of retirement:  "I am looking forward to my summer engagement with the Old Unitarian Guys at First Parish Norwell.  Myself and a few others from the congregation often play a couple of songs in the talent show but people have asked us do a whole set.  That is going to be happening August 6th at the First Parish Norwell Coffee House."
